Better Work Apps’ use and transfer of information received from Google™ APIs will adhere to the Google™ API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access requested
Sheet Analyst requests access to the spreadsheet where it is used. Drive Suite requests Drive access once at installation to inventory metadata and perform only user-confirmed Drive management actions, plus permission to create or update the Google Sheets™ spreadsheet a user chooses. Form Amp requests access to the Form where it is used (its questions, settings and responses), to Google Sheets the user connects or asks it to create, to send email the user configures, and to Apps Script triggers that run its background updates. It does not request Docs, Slides or broad Drive access. Each product uses Google™ data only for its prominent user-facing workflows.
Drive Suite boundary
Drive Suite never downloads, exports, uploads, OCRs, converts or reads file contents. It does not send Drive metadata, folder IDs, filenames, paths, file links, spreadsheet IDs, catalog rows or file contents to Better Work Apps, Polar, advertisers, data brokers or unrelated third parties. Google processes Drive API requests, and catalog rows and reports are stored in the Google spreadsheet selected by the user. Its licensing request contains only an opaque installation identifier and plan state.
When a user chooses to manage a file, Drive Suite provides a per-item preview and capability check before a separate final confirmation. Copies leave sources unchanged, removal uses Google Drive™ Trash only, sharing changes require additional safeguards, and undo is blocked when a newer Drive edit makes it unsafe.
Form Amp boundary
Form Amp processes Form items and responses within Google Apps Script™ and the Google services the user enables. Its entitlement requests contain the product identifier, an opaque installation identifier, app version and requested plan only, plus the license key the user enters to activate Pro. Form IDs, answers, response IDs, respondent details, spreadsheet IDs and sheet contents are not sent to Better Work Apps for entitlement. Results are written to the Form’s own response Sheet, and settings and delivery records stay in Apps Script user properties; the add-on does not send Form data to its entitlement provider.
Limited use
- Google™ user data is not used for advertising, surveillance, credit decisions or generalized AI or machine-learning model training.
- Humans do not read Google™ content through these products. Users who need support should provide only sanitized information they affirmatively choose to share.
