Better Work Apps’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access requested
Sheet Analyst requests access to the currently open spreadsheet so it can perform the analysis, modeling, auditing and data-preparation actions the user selects. It also requests permission to display menus, dialogs and sidebars in Google Sheets.
Limited use
- Google user data is used only to provide or improve prominent, user-facing Sheet Analyst features.
- Spreadsheet content is not transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.
- Google user data is not used for personalized advertising, surveillance, credit decisions or generalized AI or machine-learning model training.
- Humans do not read spreadsheet content through Sheet Analyst. Users who need support should provide only sanitized information they affirmatively choose to share.
- We do not sell Google user data.
Current beta architecture
During beta, workbook contents are processed within Google Apps Script and the add-on interface. Cell values, formulas, sheet names and spreadsheet identifiers are not sent to Better Work Apps servers or an external calculation service.
