Plain-language summary: Sheet Analyst works with the spreadsheet you have open; its workbook contents stay in Google Apps Script™ and are not sent to Better Work Apps or an external calculation service. Drive Suite reads Drive file details for its catalog and management workflows, but not file contents; it does not send that metadata to Better Work Apps, Polar or unrelated third parties. Google processes its API requests and stores the catalog in the Google services you choose. Google™ data Sheet Analyst accesses
Sheet Analyst requests permission to view and modify only the Google™ spreadsheet in which you use the add-on and to display its interface inside Google Sheets™. It uses that access only when you choose a feature, for example to analyze a selected range, create results, transform data, audit formulas or update a model.
Sheet Analyst does not request access to all files in Google Drive™, Gmail™, Calendar or Contacts. It does not receive your Google Account™ password.
How spreadsheet data is processed
Calculations run in Google Apps Script™ and the add-on interface. Better Work Apps does not receive or store cell values, formulas, sheet names, spreadsheet identifiers or calculation results on its servers. We do not use Google™ user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance or training generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Settings stored in Google™
Sheet Analyst can store formula snippets and task state in Google Apps Script™ user properties associated with your Google Account™. Saved scenarios and transform recipes can be stored in document properties associated with the current spreadsheet. These settings are hosted through Google Apps Script™, not on Better Work Apps servers. Avoid putting confidential personal information in names or descriptions for saved items.
Licensing and payments
To provide a 14-day Pro trial and paid access, Sheet Analyst sends a random installation identifier, app version, entitlement status request and—only when you choose to activate—a license key to the Better Work Apps licensing service hosted on Vercel. It does not send spreadsheet content or Google™-account content. Entitlement records contain technical identifiers, plan status and trial or access dates. Polar acts as merchant of record for paid subscriptions and processes checkout, tax, receipts, renewals, cancellations and payment details. Better Work Apps does not receive payment card details.
Drive Suite data
Drive Suite reads accessible Google Drive™ file and folder metadata: names, types, IDs, paths, timestamps, sizes, checksums where Google™ supplies them, Drive-provided links, thumbnail links, and—when selected—owner display names and email addresses. It never reads file content, downloads, exports, uploads, OCRs or converts files. Its one-time Drive authorization also supports only management actions that the user specifically chooses after a per-item preview, capability check and typed confirmation: rename, description, star, move, copy, Trash, folders and permitted sharing changes. Drive metadata, folder IDs, file names, owner details, paths, links, spreadsheet IDs, catalog data and file contents are handled within Google’s Drive and Sheets services and are not sent to Better Work Apps, Polar or unrelated third parties. The separate licensing requests send an opaque installation ID and product key for trial status; when the user activates a paid plan, the entered license key is also sent to the Better Work Apps licensing service. Those requests do not include Drive or Sheet data. Catalog rows and reports remain in the user’s Google Sheets™; job checkpoints and action plans are held in Google Apps Script™ user properties. The user can remove monitoring, job history and saved profiles in Drive Suite. Generated spreadsheets, reports and log tabs are user-owned Google files and are not deleted when the add-on is uninstalled; delete those files or tabs in Google Sheets™ if they are no longer wanted.
Form Amp data
Form Amp is a Google Forms™ Editor add-on. When you open it, it reads the current Form’s title, questions, options and settings to show the sidebar. Features you turn on read answers and respondent email addresses: to fill options from a Sheet you choose, count seats per option, score responses, spot repeat submissions, send the emails you configure, and show the Responses window. Form Amp saves each response’s results — score, percent, band, pass/fail, status, a repeat flag and a short one-way fingerprint used to match repeats (not the answers) — as “FA” columns in that response’s row of the Form’s own linked response Sheet. Settings, seat counts, a short activity log of Form Amp’s own changes, and records of which emails were sent or failed are kept in Google Apps Script™ user properties keyed by Form ID. Form Amp creates files only when you ask: a source Sheet for dynamic choices, a response Sheet, or an export. Emails — confirmations, team alerts, status updates and full-option alerts — are sent from your Google account through Google Mail, using the templates and recipients you set. The native Form URL remains a direct Google Forms flow; Form Amp’s checks run after Google Forms accepts a response.
Form Amp’s entitlement check sends only a random installation identifier, app version, product identifier and requested plan. Starting the optional no-card 14-day trial also sends a trial request. When you buy Form Amp Pro, Polar acts as merchant of record and emails you a license key; when you enter that key in Form Amp, it is sent with the installation identifier to the Better Work Apps licensing service, which checks it with Polar. No Form ID, response ID, question title, answer, respondent email, spreadsheet ID or sheet content is sent to Better Work Apps or Polar for entitlement. Form Amp also asks Google’s Forms API for the current Form’s name, using your own Google authorization; that request goes only to Google. On the free plan, confirmation emails end with a short “Sent with Form Amp” line. You can delete the current Form’s Form Amp settings, seat counts, activity and email records, and remove its background triggers, under Plan & privacy → Delete Form Amp data for this Form; this keeps the installation identifier so trial eligibility is not reset. Results columns in the response Sheet, Sheets you created or exported, and sent emails remain in your Google account until you delete them there.
Website and support information
If you contact support, we process the email address, product, topic and message you provide. The support form is hosted by Google Forms™ and its responses are delivered to our Google Workspace™ mailbox. Do not submit confidential spreadsheet data, passwords, payment details or license keys. The website is hosted by Vercel, which may process ordinary request, security and diagnostic data such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL and timestamp.

Sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share information only with service providers required to operate the website and support channel, when you direct us to do so, when required by law, or when necessary to protect rights, safety and service integrity. We do not transfer spreadsheet content to those providers.
Retention
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain security records and meet legal obligations. Entitlement records are retained while needed to prevent repeated trial activation, provide paid access, resolve licensing issues and meet legal obligations. Infrastructure providers retain operational logs according to their configured policies.
Your choices and deletion
You can stop access by uninstalling an add-on and revoking access in your Google Account™. Sheet Analyst lets you delete saved recipes, scenarios and snippets within the product where available. Drive Suite lets you remove saved profiles, schedules and eligible job history; generated Sheets files and reports remain in your Google Drive unless you delete them there. Form Amp’s Plan & privacy screen can delete the current Form’s settings, counts, activity and email records and remove its background triggers. Results columns in your response Sheet, Sheets you created or exported, and sent emails stay under your control and can be deleted in Google Sheets, Drive or Mail. Children
The services are intended for general business, professional and educational use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, limit requested permissions and keep credentials out of client-side code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please report suspected vulnerabilities privately to support@betterworkapps.com with “Security report” in the subject.
Google™ API Services disclosure
Better Work Apps’ use and transfer of information received from Google™ APIs will adhere to the Google™ API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read our full Google™ API disclosure.
Changes
We may update this policy as our products change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how we use Google™ user data.
